Week of May 25: family & group notes, safer note editing, insurance accuracy

Group session documentation, explicit note saving, and a deep insurance-accuracy pass.

New

  • Family and group session support in notes: appointments for couples and families now capture per-session attendance, notes show who was present, and note templates can expand designated sections per participant.
  • Hide client names on the calendar — a one-click initials-only mode for shared screens and waiting-room monitors.
  • "Select all that apply" questions in intake questionnaires.
  • Add Insurance Payment works from the appointment itself: recording a paper EOB against sessions that never had a claim in the system now auto-creates the claim record for you.

Improved

  • Note editing is now explicit-save across every note editor: nothing is committed until you press Save, edits are protected against navigation, and a same-time save by a supervisor can no longer overwrite your text.
  • Place of Service on claims and superbills is derived from the appointment's location (telehealth vs. office) instead of defaulting to Office.
  • Appointment reminders now send reliably on an hourly schedule — a scheduling gap had been silently skipping some.

Fixed

  • A month-long accuracy pass on the insurance area: statement balances no longer miscompute on busy practices, the payer dropdown loads completely, write-offs can't exceed the billed amount, decimal amounts entry works in all payment fields, and a dozen similar correctness issues.
