Week of August 2: a richer website builder
The practice website builder gains team pages, service cards, video, and your own brand colors.
New
-
New website sections for group practices and richer pages: the website editor gains Team (your practice roster with photos, credentials, and pronouns — prefilled from your Practice Harbor team with one click), Card grids (service cards or numbered "how we work" lists), and Link lists (recommended books and resources). The hero section can now place your photo beside the text instead of behind it, an optional announcement bar (many practices use it for crisis-line info) sits above the header, and you can set custom brand colors with a color picker to match your existing brand.
-
Video on your website: a new Video section embeds a YouTube or Vimeo link — paste a normal watch link and it becomes a privacy-friendly player (no tracking cookies). A short welcome video is one of the best ways to help new clients feel at ease before reaching out.
-
Share documents with many clients at once. A new "Share Documents" button on the Patients page (and a share action on each document in Settings → Shareable Documents) lets you send consent forms or questionnaires to any set of clients — or all of them — in one step: pick recipients, pick documents, customize the email, review, send. Perfect for an updated policy or fee document that everyone needs to re-sign at the start of the year. Guardians are offered automatically for minor clients, and each client's signed copy always preserves the exact version they signed.
-
Five new scored measures. The measures library adds the C-SSRS Screener (Columbia suicide risk triage — the standard follow-up when a PHQ-9 flags item 9), the full 10-item AUDIT (the next step after a positive AUDIT-C), ARM-5 (a 1-minute therapeutic-alliance check-in for session-to-session feedback), and two for younger clients: PHQ-A (the PHQ-9 modified for teens) and PSC-17 (a parent-completed screen for children). Each was built from its published source instrument, scores automatically, and can be enabled under Settings → Shareable Documents.
-
Your client portal now greets clients with your practice name. The sign-in page, the set-password page a new client lands on from their welcome email, and the password-reset page all show your practice name above the form — a familiar first screen instead of a generic heading.
-
See your availability hours right on the calendar. In the Week and Day views, hours outside your working hours are now lightly shaded gray, so you can tell at a glance where a new session fits — and what clients can request online. It's a visual guide only: you can still schedule anytime, shaded or not. A new clock menu on the calendar lets you hide the shading or jump straight to editing your hours (Settings → Online Booking).
Improved
-
Ask the AI about the whole chart, not just the last note. The question box in the Last Note panel (on the recording, dictation, and typed-note pages) now answers from the client's entire record — every session note, the medication history, assessment scores, and lab results — so you can ask things like "when did we last talk about her sister?" or "which medications has he already tried?" A new Ask AI button on the client chart opens the same assistant in a side panel. Answers cite the session date they came from, and the conversation is never saved — anything worth keeping, you copy into the record yourself.
-
Medication trial summary: choose which trials to share. The trial-summary view (used for prior authorizations and step-therapy documentation) now has a checkbox on every trial, so a prior auth for one medication class doesn't have to include unrelated trials in the copied text or printout.
-
A Psychiatry SOAP note template. Practices with prescribing enabled get a new template in the gallery built for medication-management visits: a mental status exam in the Objective (drawn only from what the session shows), a diagnosis-oriented Assessment (working DSM-5 diagnosis, differential, and formulation), and a Plan that captures medication reasoning — with the exact prescription record appended automatically when you prescribe from the note.
-
Record any labs — not just medication monitoring. A new "Record labs" button in the Labs area lets you enter results from any outside report — a new client's baseline panel, screening labs, anything faxed in — even when no medication is being monitored. The test catalog grows to cover the common baseline panels (CBC, metabolic panel, lipids, thyroid, B12/folate, vitamin D, prolactin, and more), each with reference ranges and the same typo-catching checks, and results flow into the same lab flowsheet and trend charts.
-
Drug levels now record the dose at the time of the draw. When recording lab results, a new "Medication dose at draw" field auto-fills from the prescriptions active on the collection date (editable if the actual dose differed) and shows alongside the value in the lab flowsheet — a level without its contemporaneous dose is only half the picture.
-
The client list is now called "Clients" everywhere. The sidebar and the list page previously said "Patients" while the rest of the app said clients — same page, same place, now one name.
-
A clearer website editor. The page sections list now mirrors your actual page from top to bottom — the hero and highlights appear first, marked as pinned, with your rearrangeable sections below. The hero's photo controls were also simplified: choose the layout first (photo behind the text or beside it), and only the controls that apply to that layout are shown.
Fixed
- The website editor's preview now switches fonts immediately when you pick a different font pack. Previously the preview could keep showing the old typography (your published site was always correct — only the preview lagged).
- Signed documents now show the exact statement your client agreed to. A signed Good Faith Estimate shows its receipt acknowledgment and a signed treatment plan shows its participation statement — previously the record view showed a generic "agree to the terms" line for every document type. Treatment plan signatures also now display the typed name.
- Video sessions: background blur turns on reliably from the pre-call check. If a client switched blur on before joining, it could silently fail to apply while the toggle stayed on; blur now applies as soon as the camera starts, and the toggle reflects what is actually happening.
- Tightened how files shared in secure-message conversations are scoped for family contacts, so attachment visibility always matches the conversation's sharing settings.
- The navigation menu now only shows pages your role can open. Team members without billing access no longer see a Billing menu item that led to an "access denied" page — and the Settings page now shows only the sections your role can actually open, too.
- Profile setup for team members now ends with a "Getting around" step — short guides for your first day (dashboard tour, first session, recording, notes) instead of a single-step wizard that looked incomplete.
- Team members with the Basic or Billing access level can now see their clients' shared records properly. Uploaded files, assessment scores, and session records that another clinician (or the client) added to a chart were previously invisible to these access levels, and saving a session transcript could fail. Notes and intake responses are unchanged — those always stay with the clinician who wrote or received them, and each clinician still documents only for their own clients.
